Bambinos Loves: Favorite Things Christmas Edition
Posted on November 22 2019
'Tis the season for list making and gift giving and we could all use a little inspiration to find just the right things to wow the ones we love. I polled our team of 20, 30 and 40 somethings to find out their favorite things and share them with you. We hope you find something you'll LOVE to gift or keep! xo, Karen

Beautiful hand-made jewelry by Michele F, a mother-daughter team, top my list (along with their boutique clothing). They custom designed the earrings I gifted my bridesmaids and I bought the dress I wore in my engagement photos from them!
This hand-screened long sleeve tee is not only super soft, but the message is both endearing and trendy. Made by a woman I know in Idaho, all her products at 208tees are screen printed on high quality pieces so you know you’re getting a great product!
I don’t drink coffee, so I am always looking for new teas to try and Ajiri Tea black tea with mango is my absolute favorite! And the best part is Ajiri Tea employs women to make the unique packages and all proceeds are donated to the Ajiri Foundation which pays school fees for orphans in western Kenya.
Subscription box for a great cause? Absolutely! GlobeIn curates boxes filled with $70-$150 in handmade merchandise from around the world. The best part is that each artist is paid a fair wage for their pieces so you know you are not only getting an amazing and one-of-a-kind artifact, you are also supporting families is traditionally under-developed regions.
Ornament exchanges are the best and Feliz Modern, our local gift wonderland, has the best selection for 'make you smile' tree decor. I'm holding out for the taco truck restock.

While most of my Christmas faves revolve around all the sweet and tiny things at Bambinos for my new year arrival, for moi, I would choose these:
Pick A Pom hat from Anthropologie: I tell my husband and family – get me pretty much anything at Anthro and I'll love it, but I really do love this “change the pom pom” hat. What a fun idea and it’s less than $40 (making it an Anthro steal). Speaking of stealing I am sure my tween daughters will steal these from me all season!
The grandma in me is craving flannel sheets, these houndstooth babies are so pretty and pink and on sale!
For the kitchen- I need/want a new cutting board or two, and these are so pretty.
These are essential for me, and I truly love, love love this company. If you don’t have these wooden spoons, then I suggest you put these on your list, they are the best for cooking , stirring and pretty much everything, I have my whole family hooked on them. I also love this mission and family run operation- people who quit day jobs to build spoons are my inspo!
I love these earrings from Hearne. Bonus, by buying these, I will likely help a baby in Africa get some diapers and immunizations with the purchase too: Another bonus: I may still be pregnant on NYE but these pretties with an extra large maternity sweater will make me feel like I am a supermodel!

My one must have, don't leave town without it, is this Rosebud Salve. I use it everyday on my lips and cuticles and have for years. My girls are getting it in their stocking this year so they will stop borrowing mine. Its included in the Anthro gift set and is under $20.
I obsessed over this skirt at our Buru pop-up (and its under $100 price tag) and had to have it (along with the turquoise sweatshirt its shown with). The waist is so stretchy you can totally guess on size for gifts and it can be styled a million different ways. I'm wearing it to a rock concert with a band tee this week, on Christmas Eve with a black crewneck sweater, and again for Fiesta with a hot pink tank. It's truly magical.
This "Ski Like a Girl" tee has been on my wishlist since it popped into my Insta feed and I'd love a mini version for the littles too.
Ten plus years ago I hosted a baby shower at Mariposa (the Neiman Marcus cafe in San Antonio). The event coordinator there recommended their Chocolate Chip Cookies in sweet pink takeout containers as a party favor and everyone raved. Ever since, my husband and I have stocked up on the annual Christmas tins filled with cookies for holiday gifting. Get an extra for yourself!
And finally, a pair of Nicola Bathie earrings would be amazing. I've linked this gorgeous pearl and gold set, but every single design by this San Antonio gal is a stunner. Hint hint hubby!

No one likes dry hands! One of my must haves is hand lotion, I keep it on my nightstand and apply morning and night. My current obsession is the scent Snowflake Cashmere by Bath and Body Works.
I believe in self care and relaxation, that is why the Butterball bath bomb by Lush is one of my favorite items. It contains cocoa butter so you will not only smell great but your skin will be hydrated as well.
I am actually not a coffee addict but I do love coffee mugs! Currently I have my eye on this sassy mug from Target.
Books are another great way to relax and escape. At the moment I am reading the French Wedding.
And finally, chocolate! But not just any chocolate. My favorite local sweet shop, Chocollazo, has hand-painted truffles that look as amazing as they taste.
